On Saturday 22 July at 6.30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Sulcitan Palaeoenvironmental Museum 'E.A. Martel', the 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙮𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 photographic exhibition 'Amphibians and reptiles of Sardinia' will be held. The exhibition consists of 40 panels created by Matteo di Nicola, herpetologist and nature photographer. Starting from the consideration that Sardinia has a herpetological fauna that is the envy of the rest of the Mediterranean and the whole of Europe, with around 30 species of reptiles and amphibians all represented in the panels (14 amphibians and 18 reptiles), the exhibition is designed with the idea of making these animals better known, often the victims of popular beliefs and misconceptions that lead them to be feared and unjustly persecuted.
